President Sproul recalled that at its meeting on June 22, the Regents approved the establishment of the Western Universities Computing Center on the Los Angeles campus. As to funding, he submitted a recommendation that $705,000 be a combination of loans and appropriations from the Michael J. Connell Fund and Overhead on Grants and Donations. The complete Minutes.
